Using a pre-prepared pie crust, this country tart comes together quickly. Watch how easy.

Preheat the oven to 450°F.

Lay a round pre-prepared pie crust flat on baking sheet.

Peel, core and slice 6 cups McIntosh and Granny Smith apples into thick strips.

Add the zest of one orange.

Cut orange in half and add juice of both halves to apples.

Toss apples with orange zest and juice.

In bowl of food processor, combine 1/4 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg and 1/2 stick butter. Pulse until mixture is crumbly.

Place apples onto pie crust, leaving about a 1 1/2-inch border.

Rub mixture of flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg between your fingers until it begins to hold together, then sprinkle over the apples.

Gently fold the border of dough around the apples, pleating to keep the circle shape.

Brush the crust with 2 tablespoons cream and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons turbinado sugar.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crust is golden and apples are tender.
