Fresh-preserved tomatoes and Ball Simple Creations Mild Fiesta Salsa Mix give this southwestern salsa a marvelous “right-out-of-garden” flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds fresh tomatoes (about 12 medium sized) to yield 9 cups finely diced
  • 1 1.3-oz pkg Ball® Simple Creations® Mild Fiesta Salsa Mix
  • 4 (16 oz) pint or 8 (8 oz) half pint glass preserving jars with lids and bands

Preparation

    COMBINE tomatoes and contents of package in a medium saucepan.

    HEAT to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
  • 3
    COOL to room temperature, about 30 minutes, before serving.
  • 4
    REFRIGERATE up to 3 weeks.
